STEP 1

online application + assessment

Once you find your perfect job, you will need to complete an online application. This application will include a short assessment that takes 25-30 minutes to complete. If you need to pause your assessment and start up again later, just log back into your profile and pick up where you left off.

STEP 2

application review

We will review your application. This review will focus on work history, qualifications and overall fit for the role. If you are a good fit, we will schedule you for an interview. We might reach out for more information so we can better understand if your past work experience is a good fit for our roles. Though we always reach out via email, your candidate profile will show you where you are at in the process, too! Keep an eye out for next steps!

STEP 3

INTERVIEW

Depending on the role, your interview will be scheduled for 45 minutes to 1.5 hours (more technical roles like mechanics have longer interviews). We will start by giving additional details about the job and ask you questions about why or how your experiences have prepared you for the role. To prep for your interview, review the information about the job you applied to, make sure you are on time and come prepared with any questions you have about the job.

STEP 4

Offer

At this step, we would provide you an offer for a role on our team! Navigate to your candidate profile to review the details of your offer and accept. If you have any questions, reach out to your recruiter or recruiter@fritolayandquakerjobs.com

STEP 5

background check

Our background checks differ by role, but overall, they aim to maintain the safety of our employees and customers. There is more information about background checks in the FAQs below. Please reach out to your recruiter with any questions.

STEP 6

day 1

Your new team leaders will reach out with all the information you need to know about your first day. You can also visit your candidate portal to go over the information there about your new job. We are excited to see you!

Frequently asked questions

general application questions

I’m a Frito-Lay employee looking to transfer. Should I apply online?

No, please reach out to your HR Representative for information on the Internal Application process.

Can I apply for multiple positions?

Yes! If you are offered a job, you’ll be removed from consideration on any other jobs once you accept.

How long does the hiring process take?

That depends on a couple of things. The initial screening process can be done in about a half hour, this is totally up to you! Then, if you are moved forward to interview, you can select interview dates up to two weeks out. Next, there may be a few days while other candidates are being interviewed. Lastly, if you are offered a job, there is a background check, which typically adds a few more days.

On average, it takes about 30 days from when you submit your application to your first day on the job, but you can speed this up by watching for communication and completing any required steps in a timely manner.

Do you offer full time and part time roles?

Yes! You can sort or search by “part-time” to find open part-time roles. All other roles, unless specified as part-time or seasonal, are full-time.

Is a background check part of my application?

As part of our commitment to the Ban the Box initiative, we do not conduct background checks until an offer of employment has been made, and accepted. Also, any prior convictions are not an automatic barrier to employment! We conduct a review of each and every applicant individually and take into consideration your own explanation of any prior criminal history.

How can I check the status of my application?

Can I create another candidate profile with a different email address?

If you already have a candidate profile in our system, please do not create a new profile. This will delay any future applications. You can apply to additional roles using the same candidate profile. If you are no longer using the same email address and/or do not remember your password, please contact the recruitment team at (888) 319-0631 for technical support.

Schedule an interview

How do I schedule my interview?

If you are selected for an in-person interview, you will receive an email that will show you all available times that you can interview. Simply select the time that works best for you!

What if there isn’t a day or time that works for me?

What if I need to reschedule my interview or don’t remember when / where it is
