The Packaging Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating assigned packaging machines and statistical scales to pack the optimum number of quality packages of product.
Packaging machine operators are critical to ensuring we are able keep our facilities running! As a packaging machine operator, you will also work to troubleshoot machine errors and perform preventative maintenance as required.
Some of your duties & responsibilities may include:
Operate multiple machines to ensure accuracy of code dates and weights
Clean and switch out machine parts as needed
Ensure products are dated, sealed and clean
Assist in sanitizing lines during the changeover process
Inspect conveyors and scales to ensure proper functioning
